Deploy Your Agent
Put your agent in front of customers with the web widget, a public chat page, or WhatsApp.
Open your agent and select Deploy to see every channel where it can be active. Each channel has its own settings, and you can turn each one on or off with its switch.
| Channel | What it is | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Web Widget | A chat bubble on your website. | All plans |
| Public Chat | A hosted chat page with its own link. No website needed. | All plans |
| Customers message your agent on WhatsApp. | Starter and above |
If a channel isn’t included in your plan, select Upgrade next to it to see your options.
Add the web widget to your website
Publishing your agent turns on the web widget. To show it on your site:
Copy the embed code
Go to Deploy → Web Widget and copy the embed code. It looks like this:
<script src="https://my.chatvox.co/embed.js" data-agent-id="<your-agent-id>"></script>Paste it into your site
Add the code to your website’s HTML, on every page where the chat should appear.
See Web Widget installation for platform-specific steps.
On WordPress
On a WordPress site, you can use the free Chatvox plugin instead of editing code:
Install the plugin
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin, search for Chatvox, then select Install Now and Activate.
Copy your Agent ID
In Chatvox, go to Deploy → Web Widget and select Copy Agent ID.
Connect your agent
Open the Chatvox plugin’s settings page in WordPress, paste your Agent ID, and save. The chat bubble appears on your site.
Share a public chat link
Turn on Public Chat to get a link to a hosted chat page. Select the open-chat icon next to it to view the page, then share the link with your customers. To show the chat on a page of your own website instead, see Embed the chat on a page.
