Sitemaps
Import pages in bulk from your website's sitemap so your agent learns from your whole site in one step.
A sitemap is a file that lists the pages on your website. Most website builders create one automatically, usually at /sitemap.xml.
Add a sitemap
Open the Website tab
In your agent, go to Build > Knowledge. In Add knowledge, select Website, then choose Sitemap.
Enter the sitemap URL
Enter the address of your sitemap, such as www.example.com/sitemap.xml.
Add the sitemap
Select Add sitemap. Chatvox reads the sitemap and queues its pages for training.
In the Sources list, the sitemap shows as one source. Expand it to see the pages it contains.
Finding your sitemap
| Platform | Usual location |
|---|---|
| WordPress (with Yoast or Rank Math) | /sitemap_index.xml |
| WordPress (built-in) | /wp-sitemap.xml |
| Shopify | /sitemap.xml |
| Webflow, Squarespace, Wix | /sitemap.xml |
If you’re not sure, check your site’s robots.txt file, at www.example.com/robots.txt. It usually lists the sitemap address.
