Behavior

Customize the content of your public chat page: the hero title and subtitle, first response, suggested prompts, and sidebar links.

In your agent, go to Deploy → Public Chat and select the Behavior tab.

Hero title and Subtitle

The heading and short description visitors see before they start chatting.

  • Hero title: for example, “How can I help you today?” Up to 120 characters.
  • Hero subtitle: describe what people can ask about. Up to 240 characters.

First response

The first message from your agent when a conversation starts.

Suggested prompts

Short questions shown as buttons, so visitors can start with a tap. Select Add prompt to add one, and drag rows to reorder them. Keep the list short.

Links shown in the page’s sidebar, such as your pricing page, docs, or support. Select Add link, then enter:

  • Label: a short name, up to 40 characters, such as “Pricing”.
  • URL: a full link starting with https://, such as https://example.com/pricing.

You can add up to 8 links. Drag them to set their order.
