Common questions

How does the free plan work?

You get 50 credits per month at no cost. Train your agent on website pages or uploaded files, create a public chat link, and start helping visitors. No credit card required. Free-plan agents are removed after 14 days of inactivity.

What knowledge sources can I train on?

Chatvox supports file uploads (PDF, TXT, MD, DOC), individual URLs, discovered website pages, sitemaps, raw text snippets, Q&A pairs, and automated website crawls. Each source is processed and indexed for your agent to reference in conversations.

How is the web widget deployed?

Chatvox generates an embed script with your agent ID, position, and colors. Paste it into your website HTML and the widget goes live. You can restrict it to approved domains with the allowlist feature.

What AI models are available?

The Free plan includes GPT-4o Mini. Starter plans and above unlock the GPT-5 family (GPT-5 Nano, GPT-5 Mini, GPT-5). Standard and Pro plans add GPT-4o. Each deployment channel can use a different model.

Can I capture leads from chat conversations?

Yes. The Collect Leads action uses smart lead capture that waits for visitor intent instead of blocking every conversation. You can configure the form fields, timing, and messages. Captured leads can also be synced to Salesforce automatically.
